What wallets are supported?

Any public Ethereum wallet address or ENS name works. Yield by DexKit does not integrate with specific wallet apps — paste the address from MetaMask, Rabby, Ledger, Safe, or any other wallet. Hardware and smart contract wallets are supported as long as the address is publicly visible on-chain.

How accurate are yield estimates?

Accepted Answer

Estimates use current protocol APY rates and live token prices, refreshed every ~5 minutes. They are planning guides, not guarantees. Actual earnings change with rate fluctuations, position changes, compounding, and gas costs. See /methodology for the full calculation pipeline.

Does Yield by DexKit connect to my wallet?

Accepted Answer

No. The tool never requests wallet connection, transaction signing, or private keys. Analysis is entirely read-only using public blockchain data. You paste an address or ENS name and receive estimates instantly.

Can I analyze ENS names?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Enter any ENS name (e.g. vitalik.eth) and the tool resolves it to the underlying Ethereum address automatically. Results are available at a canonical URL like yield.dexkit.com/vitalik.eth that you can bookmark or share with others.

Does it support liquid staking?

Yes. Yield by DexKit tracks Lido (stETH, wstETH), Ether.fi (weETH), Swell (swETH), Rocket Pool (rETH), and other liquid staking tokens. Yield is estimated using each protocol's current net APR applied to your token balance.

Ethereum mainnet and Base are actively scanned when you search a wallet. Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, and Solana are on the product roadmap. Multi-chain positions on currently supported networks are aggregated into a single total yield estimate on your profile page.

Yes. Wallet analysis, yield estimates, and shareable profile URLs are completely free with no login, subscription, or paywall. Paste any public Ethereum address or ENS name to get instant results without creating an account or connecting a wallet.

How is yield different from a calculator?

Accepted Answer

Calculators use hypothetical ETH amounts you type in. Yield by DexKit scans your actual on-chain positions across protocols and shows what your wallet earns today — including mixed portfolios of staking, lending, and restaking.

Are staking yield estimates guaranteed?

No. Staking yield estimates are not guaranteed. APR changes with network participation, validator performance, MEV, and protocol fees. Liquid staking token prices can depeg from ETH. Use current rates as a planning guide and verify on official protocol dashboards before making financial decisions.

No. These tools show gross yield before taxes, gas fees, and platform costs. Tax treatment of staking rewards varies by country and may treat rewards as income at receipt. Consult a qualified tax professional for guidance specific to your jurisdiction and situation.

For liquid staking, many users reference current Lido stETH or Rocket Pool rETH net APY. Solo validators may see slightly different returns after hardware and operational costs. Always verify the current rate on the protocol's official dashboard before using any figure for long-term planning.

Is the principal at risk when staking?

Yes. Staking carries risks including smart contract vulnerabilities, slashing for validators, token depegs for liquid staking tokens, and ETH price volatility. Yield is only one part of total return — a 3% APR does not offset a 30% ETH price decline. Understand risks before staking.

APR is the simple annual rate without compounding. APY accounts for compounding frequency. Rebasing tokens like stETH approximate APY through daily balance increases. Yield by DexKit uses the rate each protocol reports.
